Episode 14, this is the last message in our "Truth Over Trend" series going though the letters of John titled 'Living Out Faith'. Here, Pastor Kyle goes through 3 things that John shows us in 3rd John concerning living out our faith: Faithful service, the dangers of pride, and how to be a godly example. All of us are on one of these paths, which one are you on?

Episode 13 moves to 2 John in our 'Truth Over Trend' series looking at "Truth and Lies". Pastor Kyle shows us how John rejoices to hear that  some in the church are walking in the truth of who Jesus is. In this passage, John warns about those who continue to try and deceive others with a false teaching that denies who Jesus really is. He also show us  what we are to do with those who spread this false gospel. 

Episode 12 in the 'Truth Over Trend' series through the letters of John. This is the last message from the book of 1 John, "That You May Know". Here, Pastor Kyle goes through what John means when he states "I write these things so that you may know" (5:13). John gives us several "we know" statements that allow us the assurance and confidence to know that we have eternal life.

Episode 11 in our 'Truth Over Trend' series going through the letters of John. In this episode, Pastor Kyle takes us through a few verses in chapter 5 (1 John 5:6-12) looking at God's Testimony about his Son Jesus, and shows us how there's an agreement between the Spirit, the water, and the blood.

Our next episode in our 'Truth Over Trend' series comes from 1 John 4:7-5:5, titled "Perfect Love". Here, Pastor Kyle goes through what perfect love means, our source of perfect love, and the signs of perfect love. Also in this passage, John explains that perfect love casts out fear. What fear and do you have this fear?

Beginning Chapter 4 of 1 John, Pastor Kyle continues in the 'Truth Over Trend' series. In this part of 1 John, John gives us a command to test the spirits, a primary test on how to test, and then shares how we have confidence to test. It's through these three that we know if the spirit (pneuma) is from God or not.

Continuing in our Truth Over Trend series, Pastor Kyle finishes up chapter 3 of 1 John. In this passage, John gives us three (3) truths when it comes to loving how Jesus loved: The Foundation, The Fruit, and The Harvest.

In the passage, there are two families: Sin (the world) and God (righteousness). Many claim to be from one but in reality, part of the other.
