Williams, 2021) - a brilliant portrait of a post-punk DIY lesbian community in England in the 1980s and 90s - from Greenham common to the squats and fetish clubs of London under Thatcher - told through animation, archive footage and interviews. Tune in for a deeper dive into the films audacious world and its radical musical history.

Feral Citizen is a short-run series of conversations with Western Great Lakes–based ecologists, scientists, makers, and activists who center Land in their interdisciplinary work. Curated by Nance Klehm of Social Ecologies, the series highlights place-based practice and collaboration.

Episode three features Chicago-based Mexican-American visual artist and educator Atlan Arceo-Witzl. A 2018 Studio Art graduate of Skidmore College (printmaking, drawing, sculpture), he has contributed to large-scale mosaic projects with Carolyn Elaine and taught at Spudnik Press Cooperative, Marwen, and YouMedia. He currently serves as an Instructional Specialist at Columbia College Chicago. Arceo-Witzl is a member of the Chicago Printers Guild and Instituto Gráfico Chicago, and maintains an independent art and design practice, collaborating with community organizations across Chicago.

Episode 4: Backyard Fences

This two-part program explores fences in our neighborhoods and backyards, honoring those who help resolve disputes over backyard fences and border walls.

Part 1 features readings of Affirmation by Assata Shakur, performed by Samantha Rodgers and Lujain Al-Saleh, and Mending Wall by Robert Frost, read by Taravajri. Thanks to Kevin Wolf, Emmeline, and Margaret Salome. Music by Jamie Branch, Labrinth, and Nicole Mitchell.

Part 2 continues the theme, featuring a multilingual collage of Affirmation with Samantha Rodgers, Lujain Al-Saleh, Eva Soncin, Wael Buhaissy, David Liu, Mary Salome, and Kelly Robertson.
