Lunar Sea Spire

GC13, Soren, and David discuss the eleventh episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Red Dragon 1.

The dragon is down and questions abound! Why was it so active? Can Falin be revived? Who among the party was the biggest hero in that fight? It was definitely an epic struggle against a powerful foe.

But now that …

GC13, Soren, and David discuss the tenth episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Giant Frogs and Aboveground.

Well we’re not even halfway through the season and they’ve already arrived where they’re going to need to do battle with a red dragon in order to save Falin’s life, things probably don’t go well for them (Chilchuck probably …

GC13, Soren, and David discuss the ninth episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Tentacles and Stew.

This is the episode where we meet Namari (who is not Nimona!), as well as her new party. Mr. Tansu seems… Nice. Yeah… At least he’s willing to heal Marcille though, after he gets paid.

And Marcille decides that if …

GC13, Soren, and David discuss the eighth episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Raspberries and Grilled Meat.

It may end in a loss, but Marcille gets an unbelievably epic fight against the undine, lovingly animated by Studio Trigger. A great combination of exact duplication of manga panels where appropriate, and ramping up the action when necessary.

GC13. Soren, and David discuss the seventh episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Kelpie, Porridge, and Broiled with Sauce.

Another episode, another hard L for Kabru’s crew. At least their food didn’t go to waste, but they’d best respect Marcille’s spellcasting—for one it works, for another she can probably explode their heads off.

It’s too bad …

GC13, Soren, and David discuss the sixth episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Court Cuisine and Boiled in Seawater.

Well, it’s back to the lengthy episode names. But no matter how you think the paintings work (can you digest them?), at least Chilchick got some major screentime while matching wits with one of his archnemeses.

And …

GC13, Soren, and David discuss the fifth episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Snacks and Sorbet.

Yes, David has joined the party, and we’re five episodes deep into the (delicious in) dungeon.

And it’s a good episode for him to join on, because after a rough first two episodes of the series Marcille gets to be …

GC13, Soren, and David discuss The Fairy Isle from Hilda.

Well, if you wanted a fantastic send-off for the Hilda series you couldn’t have done much better. It’s a triple-length episode that lets us explore a whole new world and answers a question we didn’t know we had. Unless you were wondering why Hilda’s hair was …

GC13, Soren, and David discuss Strange Frequencies from Hilda.

Hilda doesn’t need to go outside, she needs answers. Alfur is more than happy to provide, while Frida and David drag her off to deal with an upsurge in Nisse stealing from each other. We met a lot more today, who was your favorite?

But most importantly: …

GC13 and Soren discuss the fourth episode of Delicious in Dungeon, Stewed Cabbage and Orc (they ate with the orcs, they didn’t stew them).

We’ve met our first bunch of not-so-human humanoids, and they don’t seem to be great fans of adventurers. But of course they get along great with Senshi—and he’s able to charm even …
