As a dedicated and active Lion for over 20 years, she has held many roles within the district: past Zone & Region chair, Youth Exchange chair, Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) Lake Joseph Chair and is presently the A7-11 Cabinet Secretary in her second term. Lion Ann speaks on how she first heard about Lions Club and providing youth new opportunities. She is currently running for 2nd Vice District Governor for the 2021 - 2022 year and shares her platform of a passion for purpose.

In today's episode, Ryerson Campus Lions Club meets with Lion Julian Austin, 2018-2019 Global Membership Team Coordinator (GMTC). As previous Zone and Region Chair for Region 58, he has become a valuable mentor and leader on the District Governor's Cabinet. In recent years, many clubs have been facing a decline in membership. The chronic issue from these dwindling numbers is the need to address membership satisfaction. One of Lion Julian's passion which we will uncover today, is his passion for membership, mentorship and service.

Since joining in 1999, Ray has served in every club office and continues to sponsor new members. He has served as District Ambassador, Sergeant at Arms and Deputy Director of Manpower for the Toronto International Convention in 2014.

In this episode, we sit down with Lion Dr. Shafi, a professor & co-founder of Internationally Trained Medical Doctors (ITMD) program at Ryerson, Diabetes Awareness District Chair and Campus Chair, and 2nd Vice District Governor candidate.
