Season Two (Ep15) This episode of Lunchtime with Demons takes a deeper dive into the 6 pathways of practice.
TRANSACTIONAL- This is the most straightforward approach: "I give, you give." Offerings, rituals, and promises are exchanged for a specific outcome and whether it is for protection, prosperity, knowledge, or influence the transaction is clear. • Strengths: Clear structure, quick results, direct expectations. • Caution: When the relationship is only ever transactional, it can remain shallow. Like any contract, once the exchange is over, so is the bond.
NON TRANSACTION - Here, the connection becomes more like friendship or kinship. You speak, share, and honor them not because you expect something in return, but because you value the relationship itself. • Strengths: Builds genuine trust and intimacy. Opens the door to deeper bonds. • Caution: Like human friendships, this requires reciprocity of attention and care. It's not about keeping score, but about showing up.
CO EVOLUTION - This path is about personal growth alongside the Divine. You seek their guidance, correction, or perspective, and in turn, allow yourself to be reshaped. They become the mirrors and teachers, showing you your blind spots and helping refine your character. WORSHIP • Strengths: Fosters transformation and resilience. Creates a living mentorship dynamic. • Caution: Growth is rarely comfortable. Be ready for them to challenge you where it matters most.
CO-CREATION - Here you partner with them as collaborators. You bring your skills, ideas, and creativity, while they contribute insight, inspiration, and momentum. Together, you manifest art, projects, rituals, or structures in the world. • Strengths: Produces tangible outcomes infused with the divine essence. Deepens the sense of shared purpose. • Caution: Requires humility. You must be willing to let their vision mingle with yours without clinging to sole ownership.
SERVICE - This approach is less about what you want, and more about aligning yourself with their will. You become their hands, carrying out work in the world that reflects their current or ancient desires...whether that's dismantling structures, amplifying truths, or creating sanctuaries. • Strengths: Anchors devotion in action. Builds a life of purpose beyond self-interest. • Caution: Service must be entered freely, not from fear. Otherwise, it becomes enslavement rather than devotion
WORSHIP - At its core, worship is reverence. Prayers, hymns, invocations, offerings and all acts of devotion that place them at the center of your altar or practice. • Strengths: Deepens awe and reverence. Creates powerful ritual bonds. • Caution: Worship alone can keep them on a pedestal, and this sometimes can be useful, but it may also prevent intimacy if that's what you seek
