Lupine Transmissions

We're joined again by Josh of Hoot 'n' Holler and Are You There, Pod? fame to discuss some of the weirdest trading cards we could get our paws on. Discover about the history of trading cards, why everything in the world seemed to get a trading card set in the 90s, and hear our pitches for sets we'd like to see.

Warning: This one ain't for the kids.

Pop culture expert extraordinaire William Bruce West squares up with Tom this episode to talk about one of the biggest names in the wrasslin' business -- THE UNDERTAKER! Join as we take a look at The Phenom's 30-year career with all its highs, lows and sometimes just outright bizarre moments. Listen along as we grapple with our love of the character...and our oft-complex feelings about the man beneath the Stetson hat, Mark Calaway. Along the way, we also ponder why Brother Love was so red, whether blogs are dead and talk about how Will's journey to the USSR inspired him to become the media mogul that he is today.

Josh of Are You There, Pod? and Hoot 'n' Holler fame joins Tom to talk about the Kelly-Hopkinsville Goblin. We discuss why aliens are harassing nice people in rural areas, whether or not we'd drive 17 or more hours to visit Roswell, Texas tourism highlights and why dads always lie.

This may be our best-sounding episode yet, thanks to the new mic. And this week, we talk about the book that's turned several generations goth -- Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire! We talk about both the book and the movie, what it would take to make Josh read the whole Vampire Chronicles series, formative memories at the video store, Jess' suggested edits and the true test for whether something has had pop culture impact. Fan or not, there's plenty for you to enjoy in this one.
