Lust2Learn with Mr. Rick and Marco

We talk fake protests, liberals vs conservatives, jumping in front of a police officer and the Golden Globes. Great escape from the world of teaching!

Two Teacher Friends talking about their much needed winter break.

This week it's just Mr. Rick and Marco talking shit about the stuff we as special education teachers have to go through each day and each week. Just a fun conversation.

We talk Special Education Law with Sarah Garcia from Lozano Smith

We talk about how much gossip there is in the teaching world and how rumors get started!

We talk about Thanksgiving but mainly pet peeves and a funny Las Vegas Dinner Story!!

In this episode Marco gets real and honest about what has happened over the first few months of the school year. If you're a teacher or public educator/administrator and you have ever been placed on paid Administrative Leave you will want to listen. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF CONTEXT, YOU MUST LISTEN TO THE WHOLE SHOW TO GET THE WHOLE STORY.

Talking movies and how they take your mind of the daily stress of being a teacher

For our first lesson, we're getting personal. Forget the syllabus. Mr. Rick wants you to think about your impact on the world. Sparked by everything from a J.D. Vance podcast to the latest TikTok trend, this episode is all about the powerful, often unseen, influence we have on each other. Featuring hilarious and moving stories about the students and colleagues who left their mark on him, Mr. Rick makes the case for why knowing your own legacy is the most important lesson you can learn. He also introduces his new survival guide for educators, "The Chaos Resistant Teacher."
