Prayer is speaking to God in words and thoughts. This speaking shows that He is the one who has established this relationship in Christ. God is not some unknowable object, but the true God who tenderly invites us to trust in Him and talk to Him. This Triune God listens like a dear, loving, and compassionate Father who is always available, gives full confidentiality, and promises to answer our prayers with perfect grace and mercy.
