Defending the faith is important. Let’s talk about it and let’s refer to the latest news that apparently King Charles is not doing that. Is it even important and why is it important to defend the Christian faith at Easter?

A bit about my day here in Kirriemuir before my work on the broadcast and our reading today is from Daniel chapter 6 verse 16 to chapter 6 verse 28.

I share about Mother’s Day and appreciating what we have and I pray for you. I also talk about a surprising message from my friend, although anonymous, it’s about conscience due to where we are with Jesus.

A Step of Faith. Please be aware that some controversial topics come up on this group meeting. Our views differ on some topics but please listen on to the end there are many items we did agree on too.

I believe that leaders of countries should behave as Jesus commands ~ to love God and your neighbour as yourself as far as is practicable. That leaders should endeavour to behave in respectful ways with an adult frame of mind which includes protection of particularly the children and weak and vulnerable.

Our scripture today is Ruth 2, where Ruth finds favour with her mother in laws fellow kinsman Boaz. She has moved to be with her mother in law after the death of her husband and so this is a scripture message about loyalty and doing right by others and sometimes being called to be somewhere totally new. It’s a message to trust God in the unknown.
