Shame causes Adam and Eve (and all of their children) to attempt to cover, remove and avoid their shame and guilt in their own way. In the end only God's covering of our shame is truly effective to address our rebellious nature and ultimately take our shame away. Genesis 3:15 provides a precious promise of the One who will accomplish this for humanity.
