Dr Lurie’s clinical research included studies of vascular reconstructive surgery, natural history of vascular diseases, management of patients with acute DVT, and studies of compression therapy. I have worked in the outpatient department of NYU Rusk Institute, JFK Rehabilitation Center in Edison, NJ, then Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where I was the lead lymphedema therapist at the Monmouth satellite until 2021. At MSK,

I worked with lower extremity, genital, upper extremity and head and neck lymphedema and was able to use a sewing machine to make my own compression garments, especially for the head and neck lymphedema population. In 2021, I transferred to private practice at Omnitherapy in Bloomfield NJ, and recently started working full time at Atlantic Health in a new lymphedema clinic in Clark, NJ.
