Out of all the ways that he works one of the greatest is though other people, so how do we repond when something bad happens or when someone attacks us? In Acts 28:1-10 Paul shows us why that we as believers must overcome snakebites, those reasons being; people are watching us, we may never get another chance, and we have a greater task ahead of us. When we stray to far from that we end up in a mess and usually that is when we end up calling out to God for help. In the book of Joel we see that Israel the Northern Kingdom has fallen and Judah the Southern Kingdom is next. Joel pours out his heart for the repentence of the people, calling for them to renew their covenant with God. When the wall was finished Nehemiah has to shift the focus to the building project from building the wall to building the people. He set up gatekeepers, guards, singers, and Levites to defend the city and to return the focus back to God. The final thing that He did in Nehemiah 7:1-4 was he choose to draw on a open promise that God had made to the people. If we are to go from Maintence to Ministry we have to guard our hearts, defend what God has built and bring our focus back to God while relying on His promises that He has made to us.
