About Lynn:

Lynn Downey is a professional actor, creator, and life coach. Her midwestern roots infuse a spirit of warmth, collaboration, and fun energy into all she does. As an actor, Lynn has held her own opposite Academy Award nominated Angela Bassett (9-1-1), Emmy winner Sarah Paulson (Impeachment: American Crime Story), and recurs in Reese Witherspoon’s Daisy Jones & The Six for Amazon. Other TV Credits include The Rookie, S.W.A.T, Deputy & Henry Danger. Film credits include Faith Ba$ed & the upcoming controversial The People’s Joker. As a creator, Lynn adapted Shauna Niequist book Cold Tangerines for the stage, starring in the world premier and touring Southern California. She co-created, co-produced & stars in the comedy web series Life Group (IndieBOOM Best Comedy) & film Things That Birds Say. She’s currently in rewrites for her first feature and in development with her husband on a sitcom loosely based on their life as performers and newparents, called Living the Dream. In 2020 she founded Work of Art Coaching, where she equips and empowers creative professionals to thrive from the inside out, on any stage, at any stage. Clients share the work is “life-altering,” “unmatched”, “the real deal.” She is originally from Bloomington, IN, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ball State University, is married to actor/comedian Dan Braswell, and loves being mama to new baby Birdie Joanna.
