Our very special guest this week is Lynsey Bennett, who was diagnosed with terminal cervical cancer exactly a year ago. Last November the doctors told Lynsey she had just 6 to 8 months left to live. Lynsey then had to not only deal with that life changing news, but also deal with an impeding High Court case against the HSE and a number of private testing laboratories in Ireland and the US over the alleged misinterpretation of her cervical smear tests.
Every week I ask my guest for 3 moments of clarity that contributed to a change in the course of their life journey. Lynsey has had many moments over the last year that would break many people. But what shines through this uplifting interview is Lynsey’s relentless positivity, gratitude, emotional intelligence, open heart and sheer will to not only live, but enjoy her remaining time with her family and friends. Lynsey has been an inspiration to many people in Ireland who have been following her journey and you can see why in this uplifting interview.
We would ask you to please follow so a new episode will appear in your library every week. I would also really appreciate it if you could leave a rating and review as it helps others to discover this podcast.
