The Minnesota Lynx begin their 2020 season on Sunday! This summer’s fast and furious schedule features each team playing 22 games over the course of seven weeks. It’s going to be a totally unique season for the entire league. In order to make sense of things from the Lynx prospective we’re joined by Winsidr’s Aryeh Schwartz! We look at Minnesota’s roster to figure out how the rotation might work. Also Napheesa Collier’s second year, the Brown/Banham battle, and other storylines to watch this season.

A cloud of uncertainty hangs over the 2020 WNBA season, but the WNBA Draft is still on! The Minnesota Lynx have the 6th and 16th overall picks. This summer, USA Basketball and the WNBA announced a new training program for the Women’s National team ahead of the 2020 Olympics. A select group of eight players including Sylvia Fowles have committed to the initiative and will financially compensated to stay stateside. Cheryl Reeve is also currently an assistant coach for the National team. This episode is about Sylvia and Cheryl’s connection to USA Basketball and how this new program could be the start of something special.

The regular season is drawing to a close and the playoffs are on the horizon. This episode of the Los Lynx Talk Show features Derek James of High Post Hoops. After playing a major role on Minnesota’s 2017 WNBA championship team, Plenette Pierson went out on top and retired from the game of basketball. Less than two years later she finds herself as an assistant coach on Cheryl Reeve’s staff. The Lynx point guard lost the end of her 2018 season due to injury. She worked for nine straight months to return to her team as an improved player. This is the story of Danielle Robinson’s road to recovery and the changes she’s made to become more valuable to her team both on an off the floor.

The Lynx continue to be active in this offseason. Their latest move brings in guard Odyssey Sims from Los Angeles. Special guest Ben Dull joins the show to help us learn more about Sims’ game and her fit with the team. Also we talk about the team’s backcourt rotation and the team in general.
