Our guest on this episode, Mike, opens up about his experiences with handling stress on a daily basis. Mike is a registered nurse and is in the middle of his schooling, making exercise fall further down his ever-growing list of priorities. Despite this, he always makes the time to include fitness in his daily routine because he knows that it will give him the strength to carry on through his busy days. No, we are not referring to physical strength. The mental and emotional benefit of exercise is the prize that Mike seeks. It is the ultimate weapon against the voice inside of your head when it chooses to get nasty in those times of stress. Negative thinking likes to follow the path of least resistance and prey on us when we are most tired and stressed. Exercise is one of the most holistic and effective remedies to stress and negative thoughts. Tune in and find the value in Mike’s words. You are so much stronger than you know.
