A few new faces were added to the teams depth courtesy of Brad cutting the team to a number lower than the available 53 spots. Even though only 50 faces made the original roster, every face was familiar when the full list of practice squad members was released. Randy, Tom, and Rich discuss the Lions 2025 draft class. It’s a very interesting draft class this year. Including three trade ups Brad Holmes brought a full complement of 7 draft picks back with him to Detroit. There was talk of not being able to afford more than 5 players because of looming future contracts, and the same for current players on the roster going forward but it feels a little different now. There’s a chance that all seven players selected in Green Bay will make meaningful contributions to and upgrade the team and practice squad.
