#Lions football is back!!! Randy, Tom, and Rich bring you this weeks @M66NDLP. Besides the outcome Dan Campbell’s Lions gave us everything he said they would. Finding themselves in a deep hole they nearly erased a 41-17 deficit in the last minutes of the game with what may become a trademark toughness and grit. There were a lot of story lines this week including some transactions that happened before the game due to Taylor Decker ending up on the Injured/Reserve list due to a finger injury. Another key injury happened during the game when cornerback Jeff Okudah left the game with what turned out to be a season ending Achilles injury. It wasn’t all bad and the Lions picked themselves up like Dan Campbell said they would. Great offensive line play, great running game, TJ Hockenson, and a guy named Trey Flowers 👀 were immediate standouts in the loss. There were more negatives to point out but we’ll let you listen in for those, lol.

This week’s episode Randy, Tom, Rich, and Todd run through the roster trying to come up with some consensus on the final 53 man Roster due to come next Tuesday. Before that we touch on the five roster cuts that were made this week. There is one more preseason game to go vs the Colts many positions are still having question marks. Some of those have more than two players competing for that spot making for quite a bit of debate. We manage to agree on one position group but that’s about it. It’s good to have options 🏈

Everyone is excited for football and the @M66NDLP crew are no exception. Randy, Tom, and, Rich catch you on transactions, as of Tuesday, and keep diving into the roster. The first pre-season game comes on Friday, 13th. Buffalo comes to Ford Field marking the return of fans to live football once again. Randy, Tom, and Rich ventured south of the 45th parallel last week. Picking up Rocky along the way the M-66 crew had smooth sailing to Detroit as I-75 hit a stand still going north. Our personal guide for the weekend was Ted as he helped us avoid all of the current construction going on in the Metro area. It was a beautiful weekend to be outside in Allen Park and the atmosphere was full of mutual excitement and admiration felt between, not just the fans and players, but between the fans and Lions staff as well. Randy, Tom, and Rich are still processing everything we took in during our four hour tour of Allen Park and our lunch afterwards at the Melvindale staple, Fredi The Pizza Man! The football was fun, the food was never ending, and the friends and Lions family was #OnePride! We do talk some football in there too, lol, as we meander between our visit and events that happened after our trip. There was an addition to the OL group and pads went on Tuesday morning, which really points to the start of football. It was a fast hour that ended too fast. We’ll be back next week to preview the first pre-season game of 2021!!!

Hey there, Lions fans!!! Randy, Tom, and Rich are back for a big two part summer football conversation. Taking time off only breeds excitement to get back together to talk about our favorite team. This week we finish out tour of Lake Charlevoix and jump into some camp battles we expect to be watching in Allen Park, Mi. starting July, 31. The second half is our 2021 season schedule review. Who projects the most wins? Will a certain QB be the opponent week #2? How much Hopium is in the room? As the summer drifts along and society yearns for normalcy Lions fans and football fans everywhere are getting hyped for the normal we’re looking for. News of 100% capacity stadiums seems to be the expectation across the board and the excitement is palpitating.
