The Michigan Agri-Business Association maintains strong two-way communications with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) across many areas, including pesticide regulation. Recently, MDARD Pesticide Section Manager Brian Verhougstraete participated in a meeting of the MABA Pesticide Committee to provide updates on the section's priorities. This was an extremely useful update and we appreciate Brian for joining us this week to cover some of the same updates for the broader industry. You can learn more about many of these topics at the MDARD Pesticide Section's new website: www.michigan.gov/mdard/plant-pest/pesticides
Thanks again to Brian for your proactive engagement with our industry!
