HELLO, WE'RE BACK!
It's time to enjoy our offseasons, so we're doing monthly episodes. More info on that front within the episode, of course.
There's a lot to discuss and no great place to begin. So karaoke it is.

The transfer portal opened up.
The coaching carousel's still moving fast.

EPISODE 73
It's MAC Championship Week! And, Akron has a game this week! Those two things aren't totally related!
This podcast loves Ohio's chances to win, even without QB Kurtis Rourke. Toledo looked pretty solid in the first half of the year, it's been less-than-perfect in the back half of the year.
Who ya got?
Tim Lester was fired by Western Michigan, which makes WMU the first head coach opening in the MAC this offseason. The timing's a little weird, but WMU almost always does a good job in their coaching searches. They've just got to act fast on its coaching hire.
Who are they gonna get?
Buffalo and Akron have a football game to play on Friday, the day before the MAC title game, on ESPN+. This game was initially snowed out (because the MAC sat on its hands and acted more slowly than the NFL did), and was able to be played since Buffalo lost last week. Buffalo has a bowl game to play for, and Akron just beat the living snot out of NIU, 44-12.
In our collective, unbiased opinion: Go Zips.

SNOW GAME IN BUFFA- ... actually, scratch that. No snow game in Buffalo? What gives?

EPISODE 71
Toledo clinched the MAC West, so now we wait and see if Ohio slips up in November. If not Ohio, then Buffalo, BGSU, and Kent State all still have shots at making it to Detroit. Just need a little bit of chaos to occur.
Midweek MACtion this year has been pretty 'bleh', and it's only fitting that this is when we're reading that Conference USA will try its hand at midweek football starting next season. How much better is it to try to do the MACtion thing in October?

EPISODE 70
The leaves colors have fully turned, which can only mean one thing. There's Tuesday night football to watch these days.
Whether you came for actual good games (Ohio-Buffalo) or actual cluster****s (WMU-BGSU), we're seeing the MAC for what it truly is. As much as we stan the league, we're not exactly enjoying every minute of football being played out there.

EPISODE 69
Halfway through the MAC slate, anything's possible.
Well, except for Akron winning the MAC. Everything else is still very much on the table.
How many MAC schools should honestly be looking to make moves with their head coaches? Is it all even worth the hassle?
Twitters: @ARAlvarado13, @Kaleb_M_Carter, and @NIFFOCNITSUJ.
