How do we inherit eternal life? By being a good person? We'll be looking at why Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan is so much more than a morality story.

Jesus knew the cross awaited him in Jerusalem, and yet he set his face for the city and the purpose to which his Father had called him: to seek and save the lost. Stefan will be kicking us off in Luke 9:51-62, looking at what it looks like (and doesn't look like) to follow Jesus.

This weekend we'll hear from Mal Watts on what it means to respond to God's call to follow him.

It's a popular belief that all religions are basically the same, but what is it that makes Jesus different? This weekend Connor will be looking at Philippians 2; how Jesus is a radically different saviour and king and what that means for his followers.

This weekend Roy Bangun from Compassion Indonesia will be joining us. Roy is currently studying at SMBC, and will be sharing what Compassion is doing on the ground and the impact we are making together as we release children from poverty in Jesus' name. Paul Beeston will also be spurring us on in our walks with Jesus from God’s word.

The time has come to say thank you and farewell to the Dingwalls this weekend! Bruce will be bringing us his final sermon as Senior Minister, aptly titled "It's Not About Me". We'll also hear from church members and staff about their time in ministry with the Dingwalls.

This week we're looking at a part of the Bible that's filled with very real emotion from God - his deep love for his people and his broken heart over their sin and rebellion. Stefan will be preaching from Hosea 11:1-11, one of his favourite passages.
