  • If you ever feel invisible and unappreciated...
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=macchiata/gjgerkqz
    「 Self-acknowledgement and Self-appreciation 」
Self-appreciation might sound like coping but I personally think that it’s one of the great ways to be more secure. In the end like I said in the video, if we have excessive self-appreciation, we can give it to others too without being stingy about it.
I talked about self-appreciation and acknowledgment because not only I was falling into the same spot where I started but I was about to be more resentful. I began to wonder, “why do I never get any compliment despite…. (insert all the lists) while others who do something mundane get a compliment”. Then, I realized of this story that happened in Thailand and reminded myself that perhaps I was just invisible to some others and who cares? I might not be their cup of tea but among billions of people on earth, I am sure that I am not invisible to some of them and they appreciate what I do. If you ever feel invisible, at least you’re not invisible to yourself 😀

  • Time Management Lessons From Brian Tracy's Book
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=macchiata/jzoasnkh
    「 Time Management 」
I recently read a great book from Brian Tracy about time management and I voiced out what I think about that in the vlog. But the takeways is that the book helped me improved how I see time as well as reflecting whether I have spent it wisely or not.
Time is truly important to me and it has been the drive throughout my personal development journey. Without a proper time management I wouldn't be able doing all the things I've been doing lately.
Also, I am basically always doing the extreme where sometimes I get sooo lazy but also productive. It's weird but I try to also be kinder on myself. That being said, listen to the vlog to know what's in the book and what I've been doing to improve my time management.

  • Two Tails One Home Part 10
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=macchiata/xywaaswf
    Hey everyone!
Back with the kitten update. Now they have opened their eyes and started to walk around a little bit. We have not transferred them from the box and are waiting until they’re old enough to be transferred into their new home. Cici is quite protective of her kitten and it’s not easy getting good footage of them. So, it’s why it takes a while updating their life. Anyhow, say hi to Meng,Ming and Mung!

Maybe I'd release read with me or something in the future. We'll have to see as well!
But if you want to know the community update and such, stay tuned!

  • B a n g k o k 🇹🇭 vibe
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=macchiata/grrgntlv
    Hey everyone !
I am finally able to compile all the little footage I have when I was in Thailand. From this, I learned why it’s so important to document our journey but even more so, this makes me want to produce even better footage and have a concept surrounding it. The footage is mostly around Chao Phraya River, the place where I frequent when I was there. It’s really fun commuting with the boat and seeing the different sights from along the river. From the cheaper orange boat to the tourist boat, I did it all. That's also why I have my thumbnail with it.
The best time to go to Chao Phraya river is definitely a few hours before sunset. It’s not too hot nor too dark that you’re not able to see anything. It’s one of the few times to see golden sunset glimmering around the skyscraper in Bangkok.
The music in the video is called “bangkok” from chill vibe. I found the music from capcut and have run copyright check on it; and it passed. See you around and stay tuned for more video content from me!

  • Self Control And Temptations
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=macchiata/gudnecda
Hey everyone, welcome back to my self-improvement journal.
Today I’ll be talking about self control and temptations.
Self-control is something I’ve been struggling with lately. Generally I didn't really have much problem with that until I decided to socialize. Somehow, when socializing, I tend to follow what my friends say and it's not something to be proud of.
I am known to protect my peace a little too much that sometimes I enjoy being alone a little too much as well. However, lately I’ve been socializing with my old friends and though it’s a good thing, I had no sense of self-control. I went out a lot with my friends without considering the current habits and the goals that I have been building.
Socializing for people like me is a good thing except sometimes I do it a little extra. Only then I realized that the habit and everything I’ve been building so far, sort of crumbling apart. For example, I usually go for a run, wake up at 1 AM and follow all the habits that I’ve done.
Since I’ve been going out, I began to wake up a lot later and since we’ve been going out to place where I eat something I shouldn't, I became sick. It’s definitely not a good thing considering that my current goal is studying and focusing on paying all of my debts. At the same time, I realized that my life can’t really run with a lot of socializing. If I am being honest, there’s barely time for it and whenever I am taking a break I feel guilty.
So, I decided to say no.
When my friend asked me to go out, I decided to say no. I said no to the temptations that even though usually my friend and I would work at a cafe, it’s not as ideal compared to when I work from home. Afterall, I’ve been building a workspace where I don’t have the need to spend money on a cafe except a few times a month.
Thankfully though I realized it very soon. Otherwise, I would be the same person as I’ve been for the last 25 years, the person who can’t simply follow through and stop midway before achieving anything in life. I certainly don’t beat myself up anymore when this happens but realizing that I need to emphasize on self-control is much needed for a new me. That’s all for today’s journal. I'll see you around very soon!
I made the thumbnail via canva with my own picture :)

  • What's Your Ikigai?
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=macchiata/uwafwgcm
    # Hey everyone !
I am introducting a new format to my personal development journals. Now, I decided to try a video content along with footage that I gathered from my travels.
Today, I'd love to talk about Ikigai.
What even is Ikigai? Ikigai in its simplest concept can mean [having a sense of purpose in life](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ikigai). But around the self-improvement niche, that word is attached to the idea that you find a thing which overlaps between your passion, getting paid, a mission and a skill as well as something you love to do. It all started with the book under the same title Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life by Héctor García and Francesc Miralles that in my opinion popularized this Japanese way of living.
Ikigai is something a lot of people pursue these days due to the notion that if you find the middle ground of everything, it would be a lot easier to wake up in the morning and live your life.
However I find that there is somehow no Ikigai to me because mixing what I love to do and my hobby as well as something I am getting paid for, did not really work. Again, It’s not that I tried, I definitely tried.
It all started when I was back in my hometown. While I was home, I was observing how people around me who work in a corporate environment run their life. “Wagie” as I like to call it among my friends. They lead a good life. They go on a vacation once every few months, they truly enjoyed it. They go somewhere nearby once every two weeks, they go to a coffee shop every now and then.and On top of that, they have a hobby that doesn’t really make them think, “ how do I make money from it” which adds a lot more stress because a hobby is really something you do for fun. Emphasizes on the word for fun.
So,after a while and realizing that my current way of living is no longer suitable and sustainable to me, I decided to separate everything. From my passion that I couple with something I professionally make money from. A hobby standalone, and a vocational skill that I like to do once in a while to support my professional life. Perhaps, Ikigai works but to me, it just doesn’t fit into how I ideally want my life to be. Now that I have a standalone hobby, I thoroughly enjoy every bit of it and don't really stress out about monetizing my hobby. And that restores a lot more enjoyment and offers the benefits that a hobby should have.
That’s all for today’s journal and see you around soon.
Let me know what you think of ikigai in the comment section.

Finally! Cici and Shiro have their 3 kittens. I am really surprised of the colors. We named them Ming, Meng, and Mung :D. Ming is the darkest while Meng and Mung are the ones with white notes on them. I thought they would have any orange in them but apparently not. It's unfortunate that I am not home to see all the kittens :) but I am seeing them almost daily while I am talking to my mom.
