This week me and Matt are joined by Hall of Fame boxing writer and friend of the pod Thomas Hauser.

I bumped into Thomas at York Hall a couple of weeks ago. It was his first visit to one of British boxing's finest institutions so we thought we'd better check in with him and see how he enjoyed it.

It wasn't all we discussed of course.

TV was the main talking point.

The pros and cons of exclusive deals between networks and promoters and the power struggles they create. The sad departure of HBO and the abandonment of the model they created and successfully implemented for so many years. The confusion that multiple sanctioning bodies and multiple champions can create amongst the viewing public. Oh and PPV of course.

There was a lot to get into and a lot pf problems to address but we did also offer some solutions :)
