Michael Thurmond, CEO of Dekalb County Georgia Discusses his book on James Oglethorpe the founder of Georgia. He highlights how Oglethorpe became an abolitionist and opposed slavery. Thurmond also gives interesting insight on other historical fact that are surprising and rarely mentioned.

Ash Exantus will be the lead presenter on Financial literacy at The Black Business & Community Expo. He  is widely recognized as Ash Cash, and is a leading financial educator, motivational speaker, and the author of
over 40 books, including numerous bestsellers that have
significantly impacted many lives. As the founder and Chief Financial Educator at MindRight Money Management, a financial education and media company, he integrates psychology and personal finance with music, pop culture, and relevant news to enhance money management skills.

Dr Joshua, distinguished member of The 100 Black Men elaborates on the Real Men Vote forum which will be held on August 29 at The Douglass Theatre at 6pm. This will be the organization's first of several stops across the country designed to educate, inform and motivate African American Men to be more involved in and attuned to the voting process.

Dr Jimmie Smith, administrator for the Macon Bibb County Health Department discusses the myriad of programs and services that the department offers. These services embrace health care, healthy living, dental treatment and care, educational activities on specific subjects and much more.

Reggie Bell, Executive Director of the Home First Program highlights the stated purpose of the program which is to provide low to moderate income individuals with the know-how and understanding of the complete cycle of home ownership. This is accomplished through education and counseling.
