Macquarie University has been investigating how light can play a part in preventing shark attacks.

Professor Nathan Hart, told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons, "What we found is that the bright light stopped the sharks from biting those seal decoys, which it otherwise would ordinarily do."
