This song was originally recorded on September 2nd, 2021 and mixes lyrics with spoken poetry. The words were written around the mid -1990’s. The guitar also started then, but changed by 2021. The title reflects a whole range of experience. The water reference comes from an evening experience in the sparkling surf. The “cloudy crowd” references the pessimism that I encountered in certain crowds. The song ends with optimism, that I continue to encourage.

As my first standing podcast episode, I am sharing music as it comes together, without thinking about what some podcast episodes might sound like.
