At CES in Las Vegas, we got a taste of barbecue tech at the Brisk It booth. Product Manager Sam Ferguson showed off their newest and most affordable pellet grill, the Zelos 450. What makes it so interesting is their Vera AI that can take care of everything from suggesting recipes to controlling the cooking process, even if you are still on the golf course or just relaxing. Vera can even “look” at a piece of meat and ingredients (via photo) in the grocery store and give you both ideas on how to prepare it as well as how long it will take.

We first met Marc Tuinier, the "Chief Pen Salesman” of Nuwa two years ago when their Nuwa Pen was more of an idea than a product. Two years later Nuwa had a product that is almost ready to ship and a booth on the show floor at CES in Las Vegas. Nuwa Pen lets you write on any piece of paper and capture what you wrote wirelessly and digitally to your iPhone, effectively giving you two copies. Marc shows us how it works, how their handwriting recognition can make the digital copy into text, and why nothing quite completely replaces analog writing.
