Mad About Hoops

The brackets are out. We've had less than 24 hours to break them down. And of course Gonzaga got that path that pushes Tim's take on the Zags going out before the Final Four to the brink. Lots of bracket breakdown, thoughts on the OSU-ILL OT thriller (14:00), THE FINAL FOUR PICKS (20:47) and Tim's Buckeye to watch in the tourney (23:15) not named Duane or EJ. Let's get it poppin.

It's an emotional day. EBC is cherishing it. Tim has a hypothetical chalk board bracket that's been up for a year. It's time to heal and move thru this with the event of all sporting events. The guys get into Georgetown's run (8:16), the Ohio Bobcats (18:43). Did you see Josh Pastner's on court reaction to the ACC title? It was legendary (21:28). And we preview The Buckeyes and Illini (28:10). Plus so much more madness! Enjoy this day everyone.

Our heads our spinning. There's one day to go. We're exhausted and happy at the same time. We tip it off with some Big East action, some love for that Creighton and UConn game. Full reaction to Ohio State vs. Purdue and the overtime thriller (12:36) and the near first fight between Howard and Turgeon before that. A look to the OSU-Mich rematch in the semis (17:11). EBC has a new favorite player and the reason is amazing (27:46). And who are our favorite coaches? (29:40) Buckle up, we are getting completely Mad About Hoops now!

It's a Friday morning in the thick of conference tournament action. Tim slept in his clothes on the couch, and EBC is thinking about things like Texas (4:24) and Tournament seed statistics that will blow you away (8:55). The boys talk about Indiana's sad and pathetic exit and Archie's future (11:35) and they talk about Dan Gavitt's insane comments (18:40) about 5 players being enough for the NCAAs.

Colin and Tim hop into the world of Mid-Major tournaments and the exciting games that have happened so far! They look back on their times going to tournament games, and they drop news on a Selection Sunday broadcast!

Colin and Tim examine the landscape of college basketball with Conference tournaments underway! A point guard for Detroit Mercy stands out, America East and Big South Tournaments begin Saturday, and hot takes about Gonzaga and Baylor heading into the postseason!

Happy 35th episode! Colin and Tim are joined by former Buckeye and host of "Drive The Lane" Podcast Joey Lane to discuss Chris Holtmann and the Buckeyes. Lane shares the secrets of recruiting visits and what makes Chris such a great coach. Julian Champagnie and Evan Mobley highlight players to watch down the stretch, and Loyola-Chicago is back and better than ever!

Luka Garza is good. Soooooo damn good. So forget about the people who say he won't make it in the NBA. He's one of the best we've ever covered in college. We discuss why Kyle Young is a dude college basketball needs. We talk Baylor and the Zags, and which Mid-Major vs. Mid-Major cross conference challenge would we like to see?

Colin and Tim use this episode their takes on the Buckeyes and take a look at their ceiling. Both dive into surprise teams and how they have rebounded from early season struggles. Fordham either needs a change in scenery or make major upgrades, and Drake + Winthrop continue to dominate.
