Mad Milfy Podcast

This week I was inspired by the founders of @GirlTrek, and their 21-day walking meditation project remembering Black women in History. Each day we celebrate and remember our foremothers... So far my dedication to this walk has given me knowledge, reclamation and a personal commitment to radical self care. This week, I recorded myself during my walk remembering Audre Lorde, black poet, feminist and activist.

As I reflect on Queen Audre Lorde and the imprint she left on Black HERstory, I recall the importance of using my voice as a tool of radical self care, redefining what protest is for me and sharing my experience of the countless losses of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and Ahmaud Arbery.

We touch on her experience with Postpartum Mood disorder and how pole has allowed her to reclaim herself and her body and given her the ability to explore sensuality and sexuality as a mother.
