What we put before God is the king of our lives. While we may not have a problem with wealth, there are things that we do put before Him. Instead of using our blessings to help others, we tend to hoard them to maintain our lifestyles.

When you think about it, it is quite arrogant to assume that we can make plans and see them become reality. Especially, when we do not know what tomorrow may hold or how long a life we may live. Rely on the Lord's omniscience.

When we hear or read the Word of God, how do we respond to Him? When we receive conviction, do we respond to it or ignore? How we respond to the Lord matters.

As believers, we still need to be mindful of the wars of life. Sin is still a problem. The world still wants to trap us. To choose the world is to make yourself an enemy of God.

What do our lives say about the wisdom we cling to? People will know the foundation of your wisdom through your works.

The words of man matters. Our words should reflect our Creator God but sin has corrupted the tongue. We must see the power of the tongue and allow Jesus to make us righteous in speech.

Does your faith show itself through your actions? Do you say you have faith but your actions reflect the world?

As believers, we have been free from the guilt of sin which frees us to walk in obedience. Obedience is not a burden it is a freedom we get to experience.

When the Church picks and chooses who we welcome and who we share the Gospel with, we miss the point of being the church.
