MADDEN(ES)

'CLEAR VISION' EP

RELEASE DATE 2019-10-14

LABEL Todobien

CATALOG TB010

The 'Clear Vision' EP includes two stunning melodic techno tracks with some progressive and movie score influences. Both were produced by Madden in the weeks before heading to Burningman.

'Clear Vision' is the first track of the EP. Multiple textures coexist in a melodic buildup towards a sweet melodic break with some tribal vibe, to drop into a fat bass section that evoques a state of trance and getting lost in the dancefloor. The main melody takes over again with a longer break and the textures continue entangling themselves for the rest of the trip.

'Stupid Fights' starts with weird and mysterious sounds over a solid 4x4 techno beat. Things keep getting weird, dark and energetic until the main melody takes over for a sweet cinematic break.

Experiment in synth twisting, frequency bending and sound space travel. This DJ Tool is built to control people's minds and bend their will to do what you want, specially if your wish is that they dance. The atmospheric cinematic vibes end up with a 4x4 beat that should be easy to mix with your next track of any genre. From there onwards, it's all you.

This is a free download, but will also be available to purchase in your favorite online stores. Show some love if you can! And please follow me, share me, like me, dance with me, send me messages, reach out if you want to create art together!

Belmont Hotel is a groovy minimal/tech house track with an interesting ambient and glitchy buildup to a fat round bass line section that works perfectly as DJ tool, first hour track or bridge in your set. Gloomy drones and glitches coexist with the bass line and melodic pads towards a fat drop with ACID aftertaste.

Another exciting trip to Madden's mind while staying at the historical Belmont Hotel in Dallas.

Crystal Waters VS Madden. Started before and finished after 2019 BM. Metamorphoses - Complete! Thank you Crystal Waters for everything you have done for our music and culture. And specially for spreading the true 100% PURE LOVE wherever you go.

Check out my new set. Very melodic with some interesting experimental transitions. My headphones died on me after 2/3 into it and I got so frustrated!! I was really feeling this mix and loving the tracks and transitions so far... and I still had a ton of new music that I wanted to play! I managed to find a pair of shitty in-ear headphones to finish the mix before the track finished... and somehow adapted my ears to be able to mix and go a little longer.

This is a 2:15h mix! Listen to it on your long commute, summer after parties, long drives... and please comment, like and share!
