Miss Seacoast, Maddy Hawkes, is a current Junior studying Elementary Education at Plymouth State University. With the Social Impact Initiative of the American Cancer Society, Maddy uses her platform to support patients and families alike, as well as promoting cancer education in public schools. As a ResearcHERS Ambassador for the American Cancer Society, Maddy fundraises for female-lead cancer research, and is also a member of the Rockingham County Relay for Life board. You can also find her as the President of the Reach1Teach1Love1 Peer Board advocating for mental health, or spending her time with the PSU Admissions team recruiting prospective students. This is her first title within the Miss America Organization and she is excited to be competing for the title of Miss New Hampshire in April of 2022.
