4 Reasons why we settle:

1. We settle because we’re tired of waiting.

2. We settle because we don’t believe we deserve better.

3. We settle because we feel pressure.

4. We settle for safe.

What we were made for:

1. We were made for relationship. Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well.”

2. We were made for freedom. Galatians 5:1, “it is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

Romans 8:1-2, “there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Sprit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”

3. We were made for purpose. Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

4. We were made for impact. John 10:10, “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may life, and have it to the full.”
