Good times galore! Also, I forgot what the name of the end song was, so I’m here now to tell you it’s Dennis Weaver singing Another Way from the McCloud episode Give My Regrets to Broadway! Enjoy!Next episode is going to be a monster’s delight. Join us for The Night Stalker (1972) and The Norliss Tapes (1973)! We love feedback, and you can let us know your thoughts through many different means. Check out our Contact Us page for deets!

Thank you for your patience! Welcome back for episode 9 of the Made for TV Mayhem Show. It’s all about monsters, as we look back at the cult classic Gargoyles (1972), and the creepy mud monster TVM The World Beyond (1978). We also get goofy for The X-Files, read feedback and more! The gang is reconvening in March to give some love to the iconic Karen Black, which, of course, means we’ll be dropping the chains on our Zuni Fetish Dolls to discuss Trilogy of Terror (1975), and we’ll also take a look at her lesser known thriller The Strange Possession of Mrs. Oliver (1977)! So, stay tuned!
After what seemed like a whirlwind holiday break, the gang reunited to discuss the classic Dark Night of the Scarecrow and the slightly more obscure Shelley Winters telefeature Revenge. While Nate had to drop out after Dark Night, the convo rolled on and it was a lot fun! Hope you enjoy! Our next episode will be dedicated to a couple of small screen monsters: Gargoyles (1972) and The World Beyond (1978)! I will update this site and our social media outlets with dates, so we can hopefully get some feedback (hint, hint)!
Drink it in! The new podcast episode is here and it’s full of Christmas cheer… and stuff like that.Join Dan and Amanda and Christmas television expert Joanna Wilson of Christmas TV History for a lively discussion on the British holiday comedy Bernard and the Genie, as well as a look back at some of our favorite holiday viewings! This episode was the unfortunate victim of wonky Skype, so it’s a bit choppy, and the sound clips aren’t all perfect. Please bear with us, it’s a good time anyway, I promise.Up next: We’re taking a short sabbatical but returning in January with a double feature all about revenge! The films we’re reviewing are the classic small screen horror tale Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981) and the sadly obscure thriller Revenge (1971)
It’s here! Check out part one of our look at holiday telefilms. We brought along Christmas television expert Joanna Wilson for our retrospective on small screen family dysfunction in Home for the Holidays (1972) and A Very Brady Christmas (1988), and ask the burning question:Wally or Phillip?Enjoy!
This is how I spend my Saturday night: editing our newest episode for your eager ears! Trust me, my other option was homework! This episode we take on the classic 1974 ABC Movie of the Week Bad Ronald and the semi-obscure 1983 thriller Through Naked Eyes from 1983. Nate made it to the halfway point of this epic chatfest, but had to go before he talk about Pam Dawber’s hair! We’re still scheduling our next episode, so keep your eyes peeled to this space for info. For now: just enjoy the latest!

Next up: Just in time for Halloween, we are covering the 30th anniversary of The Midnight Hour and also talking about watching horror on television during the scariest holiday of the year. Feel free to leave feedback here in the comments, or on our facebook page, or on twitter, or email us at [email protected]! We’re recording October 28! See you soon!
Well, we made it back to the world of podcasting last week, and spent about 2 hours giving a lot of love to Wes Craven! The films we discussed are:
Summer of Fear (1978)
Invitation to Hell (1984)
Chiller (1985)
Night Visions (1990)
There were a couple of expected hiccups, but I also had a cold, so please bear with me. I was out of it, but the heart was full of love, and Nate and Dan were great! Hope you enjoy!Next up is a creepy double feature: Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark (1973), and Crawlspace (1972).
