Hello guys, Ace & Silm again with the MINT podcast. We just clocked 20 episodes young old. Pardon us as we started this episode lamenting how short a week is, ordinary 7 days Lol.

This episode was quite fast & furious and our brake lights came on for the first time when we talked about this tweet making waves by Wes Bos and someone said Nigerian like jumping on things like Danfo, let's find him!! The replies to the tweet made it even more emotional & there's someone making a joke about 'the Nigerian Prince' in there. Smh.

Ryan Hoover, Founder of Product Hunt did us the honours and announced that we will be having our own very first Product Hunt Meetup in Lagos, May 20th. To be honest, this has been in the works for a while, powered by your favourite MINT Podcast :) You can RSVP here

In terms of experience, Neo has about 12years under his belt & he took us along as he relived how he started out at the beginning from Secondary School and even telling us a cool story somewhere along. After his personal story, we got to talk about the tech community in Nigeria; the popular hotels.ng internship, Laravel meetup (another story came up here again haha)

She graduated from Bells University of Technology in 2013, after which she furthered her education in Information Technology at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

She took us through how she got started in tech (did somebody say Mavis Beacon?), her story in Bells which came with a couple of up & downs as usual (talk about programming on paper), her bootcamp at Andela which properly 'started' her tech career, her Masters story (where she found her passion in data) & a lot lot more.

In this episode, as the title implied, we are taking things slow for this episode. We had some technical issues delivering this week's episode but here we are. We gave a quick talk about the last couple of guests we had on the show, an exciting article on Distributed Learning in Africa by Babajide Duroshola and Solomon Osadolo's ForLoop Nigeria Newsletter. We had the honour to welcome Babajide Duroshola on this episode. @Babajiide is currently a Community Manager at Andela & a Tech Evangelist :) He walked us through his journey of switching jobs at Andela and highlighted some perks that comes with the new position.

Before we ran out of time, we managed to get him to talk about the future of UX Design in Andela & his opinion on the 'Mentor-Mentee' talk that has been going on for a while.
