Welcome back to Season 3 of your favorite inspirational podcast. We are excited to catch everyone up to speed on just what has been going on since the hiatus (pre-pandemic). As BA often says, "LOCK IN," and enjoy the the reunion.
In this week's episode we pick up with part 2 of My Sister's Keeper. If you enjoyed part 1, you definitely don't want to miss this second part. We cover views on inter-racial dating, police brutality, sexualizing black women, and the effects of colorism.
Special guests: Katiuska Herrand (@sunshinedeity), Felicia Santiago (@Felicia.marie__), Kandyce Amie(@watchandpray2641)
This week's episode is centered around a phrase that is often acknowledged, heard, even re-posted, but rarely acted upon...especially by black men. "Protect Our Black Women," is something we as a community have to be more cognizant of, and just all around more pro-active with...periodt. This is part 1 of a 2 part episode were you will hear the unfiltered experiences, struggles, and liberation of being an UN-apologetically black woman.
Special guests: Katiuska Herrand (@sunshinedeity), Felicia Santiago (@Felicia.marie__), Kandyce Amie(@watchandpray2641)
Trauma in men is something that isn't discussed nearly enough, so @BA and I figured what better time than the present to shine some light on this often skipped over topic. Trauma is one thing, but going through traumatic experiences and being a black man in America unfortunately goes hand n hand all too often. Lock in as we explore 4 different unique male perspectives centered around micro-trauma, Being Woke vs Not Being Woke Enough, and some stories that will make you want to laugh, but cry knowing some things don't change no matter where you grow up.
Special Guest: Mike Johnson, Mark Scott
Tune in as special guest @msjannayvonne shares her personal take on what it means to be considered "Wifey Material"....or a "Made-Woman" as she puts it. This was a tough one for us just because, is there really any right answer for this phrase? The answer is "no, there isn't." So, sit back and as @BAmoves always says "LOCK TF IN" because I promise you won't get this perspective anywhere else ;-)
Tune in to the latest from @MadeMenpod! It's been a minute, but @BA and I figured what better time to come out of our hiatus than during a quarantine. Lock in as we discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly truth behind our quarantine experience so far. I don't know what else to say, other than you don't want to miss out!
Episode 36 is here and we have a lot to catch up on, so sit back, get the yak, and TUNE TF IN! On this episode BA and I unpack the Awakened Man and the Wounded Man. I think it's safe to say we all go through some ups and downs as men in a world ruled by social constructs, but don't worry, we got you. We are excited to say we have two special guests on whom provide some pretty interesting takes on their experiences regarding each of these types of men.
Also warning if you don't watch power you may want to skip 17.04 - 25.33 we had to do a quick not so quick deep dive.
This week BA and I tackle something highly unusual for millennial's. What's that you might ask?? We call it " A Committed Relationship." This is the act of learning discipline, as well as maturity. Tune in as we introduce PART 2 of "She said YES" with special guests David and Amber, whom have been in a committed relationship for 7 years. They both still seem in great health, and completely sane. Nah, all jokes aside, we were truly inspired by their story and you will be too. At the end of this episode BA and I agreed that we probably learned the most from this one so lock in and get your pen and pads ready!

If you've been in enough relationships you already know that some partners are better for us than others. Usually, we label the relationship/situationships that weren't the best as TOXIC, but for this episode we wanted to dive into the different types of personas that we come across in these situations. This topic definitely needed a woman's touch, so we have a special guest, Christen Wright, who gives us perspective on the mindset of these 7 toxic personas.
