Finally, after a year, I'm getting time to ask my friends if they have ever felt pressure to be pleasing. And clearly, it's a yes. The first to respond was one of the many Kims in my life: Kim Wiley. Her family denied her the opportunity to go away to college...and she's still kinda mad three decades later.
