Welcome back to Queer PoliFaith! Today, we are going to start our look into Mae's doctoral dissertation called An Accessible Image: Reconstructing the Imago Dei for a More Inclusive Anthropology.
I was originally planning on taking 2 episodes to look at the dissertation, but I realized it may take 3 episodes. So be prepared for that, I'll know by the end of next episode. The dissertation takes a bit to get through because it has a lot of philosophical and theological concepts that are not always the easiest to explain, no matter how well Mae writes. But it's worth the effort to get through.
Our next episode will be part 2 of our look into Mae's dissertation.
