Hello to all English learners! Today I am starting a new series of podcast episodes which are in easy, slower English. I invited Marion from KindaCosy again and we speak about our daily routines and things we do every day, during workdays and at weekends. I was joined by Šárka, who’s lived in the UK for 20 years and we talked about various things like raising bilingual children, education in the UK, Brits’ typical holiday destinations, what she misses about the Czech Republic the most, and our views on accents.

In this episode I’m talking to Jan Hvizdal, who is a Czech adventurer with passion for cold and snowy countries. You’ll hear about his life beyond the Arctic/polar circle, what to do if you meet a polar bear, what it’s like to be on a guided tour to Antarctica and of course his view of English and its importance. Původně epizoda vznikla jako video pro mé IGTV, ale několik mých sledujících mi psalo, že by chtěli jen zvuk, tak je tu! Je to ryzí, natočené na jeden záběr, nejsem žádný profi podcaster. :))
