Maggie goes on a summer reporting trip to Kodiak, Alaska searching for a mystery creature to write about for her school’s summer magazine. At first she’s skeptical about what she learns, but she knows good reporters always follow the facts. The result is another great piece published, and a fun scientific adventure to boot.
