The dreaded first filler arc of season 2 is finally coming to a close. The pixies are rescued from the Shadow Phoenix's underground lair, but Brandon is still held prisoner in Queen Amentia's castle. As Brandon counts his final 107 steps as a free man, slaying the day away in his official Trog groom ceremonial robe, the Winx are on their way. It's up to Bloom, Stella, Aisha, Sky, and the pixies to save him. Will they rescue our filler boyfriend king before he says "I do"?

Season 2 Episode 5 - "Rescuing the Pixies"

Bloom, Stella, Aisha, and Sky resume the mission to save the pixies. After Stella came to the rescue, it's time to go back to the caves and finally enter the Phoenix's castle. The princess trio enter the caves along with Sky and are faced with the Trix. The Winx are no match however, with Lord Darkar's Gloomix. At Alfea, Livy reunites with Piff after introducing herself to Tecna and Musa. Brandon is still engaged to Queen Amentia, and the wedding doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. It's a matter of time before it starts, will the princess squad make it in time to stop the wedding?

Season 2 Episode 4 - "Queen of Perfection"

Chaos has ensued in the Under Realm, as Brandon fell into a ravine and Stella jumped in after him. Bloom, Aisha, and Sky are on their way down when Aisha reminds them the pixies are their first priority. Brandon and Stella wash up on the beach in the realm of "Downland", a queendom of Trogs ruled by Queen Amentia. Sponsus brings the couple to meet the queen to ask where they belong, when Queen Amentia decides that Brandon will become her new husband. Stella is suffering from the lack of sunlight, and tries desperately to make her way back to the surface.

Season 2 Episode 3 - "Into the Under Realm"

Aisha is about fully recovered as the Winx prepare for their next mission. Their next quest is to go to the Shadow Phoenix's castle to rescue the pixies, but Faragonda says that only Bloom and Stella will accompany Aisha. They continue to vouch for everyone to go, but after a dramatic test (and the same shot of Faragonda five times) Musa, Tecna, and Flora realize their powers won't be of any use. Hurt, the non-princess trio humbly stay behind to monitor the situation from their rooms. The Winx and specialists arrive at the caves and are on their way to the Phoenix's castle, when the shadow monsters appear. Will they make it out alive with their powers constantly draining?

The Winx's sophomore year is just getting started when the new girl finally wakes up. After four days, Aisha reveals that she is the princess of Tides, and lost her friends, the Pixies. They live in a village in the forest of Magix and have been taken captive by the Shadow Phoenix. Meanwhile, the Trix are enjoying their stay at Lighthaven and are suffering with copious amounts of positivity and filler flashback montages. The Shadow Phoenix is in need of their dark hearts for his mission, and grants them the Gloomix power. EP 15 - Come Through Season 2!

Season 2 Episode 1 - "Back to School"It's the beginning of sophomore year at Alfea when we're introduced to a mysterious girl. Aisha, also known as Layla, is on a mission to rescue the pixies that were taken captive by the Shadow Phoenix. Meanwhile at Alfea, Bloom discovers a secret room known as the magic archive. It's there that she learns about pixies and that there's no limit to the secrets of Alfea. After some well-deserved celebrating, the Winx are about to turn in for the night when Aisha emerges from Gloomywood forest! She had walked all this way, with a little pixie stowaway in her hood. Tecna's scan reveals that she is the princess of Tides. Who is this girl, what is her connection to the pixies, and who is this mysterious new villain?It's been a long three years, but we're finally on season 2 of Magic Winxology! I hope you enjoy the change of pace, as this season of the podcast is definitely one of my favorites. There may be some filler here and there, but don't underestimate the power of a second season! Nick Special 4 "The Shadow Phoenix"The Shadow Phoenix's quest for the Codex continues as the new professor attends Alfea. Professor Avalon was the paladin that saved the princess trio in the Under Realm, and he attends the reopening of the new Red Fountain with the Winx. Unbeknownst to them, he was the Shadow Phoenix the whole time! Icy steals the Codex, and together with Dark Bloom, the Shadow Phoenix enters the Relix realm. Will they succeed? Will Flopagonda's lips be forgotten? Tune in to find out!

Nick Special 4 - The Shadow Phoenix

It's a new school year at Alfea and things are looking up! Everyone is back on campus when a fairy, Aisha, crawls out of the forest and collapses. Along with her Pixie, Piff, Aisha was on a mission to rescue the other pixies from Lord Darkar, the Shadow Phoenix. He is a shapeshifting wizard trying to find the codex in Pixie Village, and needs the pixies to tell him where it is. Together, Bloom and Stella join Aisha to rescue the other pixies still in the Under Realm!

Nick Special 3 "Battle for Magix" pt. 2After six long episodes, the Nickelodeon chronicles of season one have come to a close. The third Nick special concludes with Bloom's quest to retrieve the dragon flame, as the Trix begin their plan to take over Magix. Bloom hears a voice in the forest and decides to follow it, and eventually realizes her powers were never taken from her. She makes it her mission to stop the Trix and save Magix, while doing it flawlessly. And just like that, freshman year is over!

Nick Special 3 "Battle for Magix"We are back discussing the long awaited third Nick special! The Trix have acquired the dragon flame and are now on the quest to take over Magix. Bloom is devastated and shocked that she had this power, and is now determined to get the dragon flame back. The rest of the Winx stay behind to protect Alfea, while Bloom, Stella, Brandon and Sky head to Cloud Tower.
