The description says for 4-7 year olds, but I wanted something to play for my 3 year old that was more relaxing than an audio book or story. The entire first month, she didn't seem to care about it and sometimes, she would talk about it, keeping her up longer, so I stopped using it for a couple weeks. Then, she started asking for her "stories" as we call them and enjoys falling asleep to (or before) the 5 tracks. She even stretches in the beginning as the lady says to. So cute.
It is new age like music with a British voice talking you through meditations such as meadows and family hugs. I took one star off 5 because the lady's voice has a creepy hypnotic quality to it (yes, hypnotic is probably the point.) If I forget about it, listening through the baby monitory is especially creepy, but for the most part I'm used to it.
