A majority of the focus (but most certainly not all) of this 10th episode in the ‘Magical Mystery Talk’ podcast series is on the background surrounding the 1973 John Lennon album ‘Mind Games’ which was re-released in 2024 as a box-set and also online, in some representative shape or form. Accompanying this bumper reissue is what’s called the ‘Lumenate app,’ which uses the flashlight on the back of one’s smartphone to generate a strobe at specific frequencies onto a person’s closed eyes as they listen to ‘Meditation’ remixes of tracks from what was the former Beatle’s fourth solo LP following the split of the band. When the use of the app is coupled with these new mixes, it is, to quote from the John Lennon official website, “mind altering.” There’s also quite a bit of focus in episode 10 of Magical Mystery Talk on ‘Paul is Dead’ (P.i.D.) because, in 2024, came the release of a new book on the subject, ‘Forbidden Fruit: Solving the Hidden Puzzle in the Beatles’ Works: from the Psychedelic Era’ by Sharon Clemons. Also in 2024, Gregory Martin, narrator of the audio-version of P.i.D. book ‘The Memoirs of Billy Shears,’ had his say on this conspiracy theory which, up until very recently, he used to think was “ridiculous”… but not anymore, or so it would seem. The eldest son of Beatles producer, George Martin says he now ‘believes it.’ Another Beatles-related book released in 2024 was the memoirs of long-time friend, confidante and fixer of John and Yoko’s, Elliot Mintz. A former radio-presenter in the US, he says he moved to Laurel Canyon in the 1960s, the controversial LA neighbourhood. Also, Episode 10 revisits the notorious Gates family, and there’s also mention of the Casbah club, the Liverpool coffee-bar where a pre-fame John, Paul and George played together in 1959. Lennon helped to decorate the venue before its opening painting some rather occultic symbols on the ceiling. The building opened earlier in 2024 as an Airbnb. Also mentioned, the dismissive attitude of conspiracy theories and theorists by Brian Ray, McCartney’s long-time guitarist, and the passing away of Diana Asher, cousin of Paul’s former girlfriend, Jane Asher, and their connections to a certain occult religious group of some notoriousness.

In September 2023 I recorded a chat with Nigel Hastilow, author of 'Dead Groovy,' a book about the life - and some have said - suspicious death of the Beatles’ and Brian Epstein’s lawyer, David Jacobs.

In this conversation with the author, he and I talk about what's in his book and I share some of my own research, that was partly inspired by what I’d read within its pages regarding possible suspects in the ending of David’s life and how it might actually connect to The Beatles and their manager Brian Epstein who was also friends with Jacobs and who died a year or so before his lawyer due to, according to the official verdict, an ‘accidental overdose,’ although rumours of murder have never been far from him either. Is there a connection linking both deaths?...

Magical Mystery Talk - episode 4 (BONUS EDITION) - John Lennon's Murder, 40 Years On

To coincide with forty years having now passed since the shooting of John Lennon, in this fourth edition of ‘Magical Mystery Talk,’ Mark, myself and Desiree shine a spotlight on this event and discuss a number of the inconsistencies, contradictions and seeming anomalies in the official narrative as trumpeted by the mainstream media.

In this fourth edition of Magical Mystery Talk – and which is actually the first of two special instalments looking into the Lennon murder (the second ‘bonus edition’ of these two instalments is to be released soon), Mark, Desiree and I talk a little about the background of Mark David Chapman, the man currently serving a life sentence for the shooting and the possibility that he was actually a CIA-backed/Mind Controlled ‘patsy.’ For example, there’s his connections as a young man to the Christian-heavy organisations the YMCA and World Vision - both of which have been tied by researchers to the CIA. Also discussed and up for question are the seemingly contradictory first-hand accounts of how exactly the shooting took place on that night back on December 8th 1980, and is it possible that – actually – Chapman wasn’t the shooter? Were there other gunmen present there that night?

Also mentioned during this instalment, the links to the attempted assassination in early 1981 of then-US President Ronald Reagan, the rather shady background of the Chief Medical Examiner in charge at the time of Lennon’s autopsy, the doorman Jose Perdomo (and his alleged CIA links), and more.

Part 2’ of the podcast series…

Mark, Desiree and myself look back at the creations of Robert Freeman, the English photographer who died this year aged 82, and who’d shot many of The Beatles’ earliest album-covers, two of which have caught the attention of occult-clue watchers, those being 1963’s ‘With The Beatles’ (what with its ‘one-eye / black-white duality’), and 1965’s soundtrack to the movie of the same name, ‘Help!’, featuring all four Beatles dressed in skiing gear and standing with their arms positioned in Aleister Crowley-esque fashion, you might think.
Recorded and released in December 2019, ‘edition 2’ of this Magical Mystery Talk podcast comes to you twenty years to the month since an attempt on George Harrison’s life was made when a ‘crazed’ intruder came into his stately home in Friar Park, England, and stabbed the ex-Beatle repeatedly in the lung. As you’ll hear during my chat with Mark and Desiree, this was by no means the first time he’d been the focus of threats of violent intent – and as recently de-classified FBI files will attest to. We also discuss the idea that the attacker, Michael Abram – who is said to have been suffering from delusions that The Beatles were witches when he invaded Harrison’s home – was yet another mind-controlled puppet same as Lennon’s assassin, Mark David Chapman.
Other timely topics discussed during the second edition of this podcast include the 52nd anniversary of the screening on British TV of The Beatles’ film, ‘Magical Mystery Tour,’ the 39th of John’s shooting, and the 50th of the ‘Abbey Road’ album which was re-issued this year as a box-set to mark this, and that was named after the road where it was recorded, situated in St. John’s Wood, a West London district with Freemasonic connections.
