Taking a break from our Bible series to answer some questions!

Continuing in our Bible series, this week we're learning the real story of the Orchard (?) of Eden, male puberty, family structures, and widlness!

This week, we're flipping the traditional, Christian narrative on its head! The Bible is a composite of many older, pagan and polytheist ideas! So what happens when we put these stories back in that context? Multiple gods, primordial beings, sun gods, moon gods, and land spirits are all in the Bible! This is part one of what is likely to be a much longer series!

This week we're talking about... Prayer? I'll be breaking down some misconceptions about prayer and worship. These practices and concepts are MUCH older than Christianity and as pagans, polytheists, and/or magickal practitioners, we can empower ourselves and deepen our spiritual practices by reclaiming these ideas.

What does it mean when people say they can "see", "hear", "feel", etc the gods? And what does it mean for us if we're not experiencing what people are describing? This week we'll be talking about spiritual experiences and how to walk our own spiritual paths without comparing ourselves to others. We'll also discuss how to use discernment when listening to the spiritual experiences of others, particularly in the context of social media.

There is a lot of misinformation about worshipping deities from different pantheons. In this episode, I'll be breaking down fear-based misconceptions about an eclectic, polytheist approach to having relationships with multiple deities, as well as giving some practical advice on how to effectively and respectfully engage with deities from different pantheons and cultures.
