Why is it that Realtors need to take the Code of Ethics class every 2 years now instead of 4 like it was when I first got my license? Perhaps if we practiced the code every day we wouldn't need it.

When I first got my real estate license it took me a year to do my first transaction because I was afraid of the purchase contract.  How did I combat that?  I got as much education as I possibly could.  Please don't limit yourself to the mere 18 hours of the required education. get as much as you can. With this comes confidence.

When it comes to delivering a message or explaining your point, don't drag on or beat around the bush.  Get to the point.

Most salespeople, particularly real estate salespeople don't know their own style, unique talents, abilities and skills that they bring to the table.  Find out what they are.

It all has to do with perspective--funny story.

Don't forget to set aside 30 to 60 minutes every week to plan your week.  Ask yourself: What is coming up? What do I need to prepare for? Where am I going? What do I need to do? What do I need to prioritize and What do I need to delegate?
