A single saint can face some problems and challenges in what may be a season of desire, drifting, distress, desperation, or even despair. But the Scriptures give good examples of happy, healthy, holy men and women of faith who serve the Lord well despite occasional pains and problems. So, what are the principles and practices which should govern the single state? It should or could be a season of purpose, of prayer, of purity, of preparation, of possibilities, of prospects, and of pursuit. The great things is to glorify God in whatever state you have been called.
