This week, you will first hear from Scott Smith as he demonstrates the use of the Sonos Controller iOS app. Afterward, Randy and I join him and you will get to hear more about the Sonos line of products, among many other topics of tech conversation including amateur radio, other Bluetooth speakers, iOS apps, and Android. Lastly, Randy and I demo the ZCast app on which we briefly touched in our visit with Scott Smith. It is an iOS app that provides an easy way for a person to podcast right from her/his iOS device. It uses Twitter to engage listeners as well as invite participants to join the conversation. You can use the app to also browse and listen to live programs or see a list of upcoming shows.

This show is all about time. First, we talk with Marco Miltenburg, the developer of the TimeBuzz app for Apple Watch, and what lead him to create the app. We get a brief demo of how the app works, also. Next, I reflect on the old technology for keeping track of time and how it brought us to where we are today. I also give a brief overview of the Tissot Touch Silen-T Tactile Watch. Randy comes in, afterward, with a demo on the Autochron, a clock that works similarly to the TimeBuzz app. Finally, we end with some chat about apps that have gotten our attention or that have been updated. We give you info on joining the TeamTalk Beta team for iOS.

This week, we were contacted by Lynette Tatum. She, along with Michael Doise, have created an app called MLWordTips. Did you ever want a plethora of useful tips and tricks for using Microsoft word right there on your phone? We had a delightful conversation with her as she informed us of how she got the idea to develop this app and describes what it offers. Next, we hear from our very own ACB Radio Main Menu Team member, Shannon Reece. She demonstrates the use of an iOS app which she uses to monitor the progress of her daughter in school. It is quite thorough and, well, all I can say is that I'm glad they didn't have this app around when I was in school. Heheheheheheh. Lastly, Randy and I come back and have some conversation to help round out some of the tangents off on which we went in that first interview. Thank you for your interest and enjoy the program!
