It's that time of year! All your favorite gaming outlets, content creators and friends are all screaming about the games they played and which one was their favorite. But what does it all mean? How does a game earn the coveted title of "Game of The Year"? The answer might seem obvious but there's a lot that goes into it and a lot of factors that may keep a game from getting the recognition it deserves.

So instead of jumping into the overcrowded pool of typical GOTY content, I've gathered some of the best creators out there to sit down and try to navigate this awards season and to help you find some solace that your favorite games lost to DLC!
