Today is the Winter Solstice!

Our traditions are adaptations of earlier ones, determined by us, continued by us. If we are stressed out and unhappy by them, why can't we adapt to something better?

On a day when a lady in my local grocery store wondered if rationing during World War Two was as bad as things are now, a poll comes out that Generation's X,Y and Z have hope and motivation for the future.

Apparently a few folks took exception to my suggestion to slow it down and hibernate for the holidays. So of course, I double down today.
