All Marines, past and present, their families, corpsman and invited guests are welcomed to celebrate the 246th birthday of the United States Marine Corps at 170 Pearl St. in Jackson, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) building by the Jackson Fire Station.
This observance will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m. Potential attendees are asked to RSVP by Monday, Nov. 8, and state how many will be attending, as there will be a catered meal. Masks may be worn at visitors’ discretions. Any World War II veterans of any service are also encouraged to attend so that they may be honored for their service.
